Here is my new best time for Zelda: A Link to the Past played on the Japanese 1.0 version on original console.
There are many time-saving tricks utilized in this run including the Hammer-Dash and other, 1.0 cart specific tricks.
This is a practice run I did for the Summer Games Done Quick charity marathon. See www.speeddemosarchive.com/marathon for details. This run was done on the Japanese 1.0 version on original hardware.
I completed the game with 100% item collection on the Japanese 1.0 version in 1:56:25. This was done on an original SNES. I was practicing for the Summer Games Done Quick Charity Marathon and happened to get my best time ever. See www.speeddemosarchive.com for the marathon details.
As an aside, I apologize for the Arrested Development sounds that come in part way through the run.

This is my run of Zelda: A Link to the Past where I collect 100% of the items. The two things that made this possible was a very good digging game (second try) and an even better treasure chest game (1st try).
